Still sorting out visa - Murhpy's Law

Well, things aren't that smooth...

I was thinking that the work and environment will be the hardest to adapt...
It seems like the politics within the company is harder to understand...
Visa application is still pending completion, and there is nothing I can do and influence...

AW was telling me I was snoring yesterday morning... I guess I'm tired and stress out...
tired; yes from the travel and appartment viewing.
stress; yes from the red taps within the organisation.

Well, still I'm very much appreciate the fact that AW is there to look after me like a big brother... making things easier...

Thanks Andrew.
:)

  1. hmm...u are talking about China so i believe guanxi will play a very important aspect of securing jobs or getting promotions there. When you are in Rome, do as the Romans do...

wow, snoring on yr first day at work? that's a record i believe ;p hope you find an apartment with good fengshui then :)

hmm...i am rather clueless abt the exact situation of your company, so when you say red tapes in organization, bureaucratic in-flexibilities pertaining to the decision making process? Many levels of approval required?

It's always good to have a mentor within the company who will teach you the ropes and you can adapt better...maybe time to treat him to some gd food to show your appreciation :)
